Fountains Church Bradford
Rebrand and website design – Fountains Church Bradford
In summer 2023 I led a rebrand for Fountains Church Bradford, which consisted of a new logo, typography, and colour palettes. The previous branding and site had become outdated and no longer fit for purpose.
After an initial conversation with the team, it was clear the goal wasn’t just to “refresh” the look, but to create something that better reflected the life of the church and made communication clearer for those engaging with it for the first time.
I began by reviewing the existing branding and website, identifying what was working and elements that could be improved. From there, I explored a range of visual directions, focusing on simplicity, clarity, and flexibility across both digital and print. The aim was to create a visual identity that felt modern and accessible, without losing a sense of warmth and authenticity.
Alongside the rebrand, I redesigned the website with a strong focus on user experience. Navigation was simplified, key information was easier to find, and the overall structure was built to help visitors quickly understand who the church is and what to expect. Particular attention was given to mobile use, ensuring the site worked seamlessly for the majority of users accessing it on their phones.
Since launching the new branding and website, the church has been able to communicate more clearly and consistently across all platforms. Feedback has been positive, particularly around how easy the website is to navigate and how well the visuals reflect the church’s identity.
More broadly, the project has provided a strong foundation for future communication, making it easier for the team to create content, promote events, and engage with their local community in a way that feels both clear and confident.
