Hi I’m Jonny

I’ve spent the last nine years working in church leadership and communications, so I understand the pressures and struggles local churches face when it comes to creating an online presence.

I’ve created Good News Studio to help churches communicate clearly and confidently online. This isn’t a typical creative agency, it’s shaped by my experience of church life and a passion to help local churches reach their communities.

About me

Alongside Good News Studio, I’m Creative Lead for St George’s Leeds. I live in Bradford, West Yorkshire and love exploring Yorkshire with my wife Elisa.

We live in a former police station and have spent the past few years renovating and turning it into a home.

When I’m not designing, I’m usually in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes. I’m currently on a mission to make the best possible home-cooked Neo-Neapolitan pizza!

Where the
magic happens

The internet has brought with it the biggest communication shift in the past 500 years.

In 1440, Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press. For the first time in history, Bibles were mass-produced and available to everyday people. Bevcause of this new invention Christianity spread rapidly across Europe and played a key role in the Protestant Reformation.

The good news of Jesus hasn’t changed, but the ways we share it continue to evolve. Just as previous generations used the tools available to them, we now have an opportunity to communicate with clarity, creativity and intention in a digital world.
